Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance benefits from £10,000 raised by Captain's charity

Last year’s Captain Colin Mason has presented a cheque to his chosen charity Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

The amount of £10,000 was raised through various golfing events during the year and donations when players went into the Captain’s charity bunker next to the 18th green.

Colin said “I would like to thank all members and visitors for their generosity during the year. I chose the Air Ambulance as it is entirely funded by donations and maybe used by anyone at a time of injury. Unfortunately it has landed on the course a few times to aid golfers.”

Colin is pictured with the team of pilots, doctors, and paramedics in front of the helicopter and presenting the cheque to pilot David Kemp.

In 2019 the organisation celebrates 25 years of service and provides the equivalent of an A&E department to people suffering from the most serious of illnesses and devastating injuries, providing the best possible treatment as quickly as possible.
