Gala Presentation Evening - November 16th
On Saturday, November 16th Belton Park Golf Club held its annual Gala Presentation Dinner for all Trophy winners during the season.
2019 was a very successful year for Lincolnshire’s oldest members golf club with some notable Regional and National victories. These included Jackie Barson and Julie Beanland winning the National final of the Ping fourball Plate and Will Hopkins winning the England Midland Boys Championship.
Pictured is First team player Jack Diment who won the Lincolnshire Amateur Championship and went on to finish fifth in the National Champion of Champions final. There were also excellent team performances with the highlight being the first team winning the Bramley Singles Trophy in the final held at Seacroft Golf Club.
The trophies were presented on the night by Captain Simon Denton and Lady Captain Helen Long.

Battle Back Cheque Presentation
On Friday October 12th Belton Park Gents Captain Simon Denton and organiser Ian Carroll were given a guided tour of Stanford Hall which is the UK’s number one rehabilitation centre where they treat seriously injured service personnel. Simon and Ian presented a cheque for £2,200 to Zeno Gomes, chairman of Battle Back golf.
Zeno complemented Belton Park Golf Club for the generous hospitality shown to his Battle Back personnel and had many requests from his players to join us again next year.
After the presentation, plans were put into place for future years to host the event for future years.
Previously on Sept 12th 2019, Belton Park Golf Club hosted Battle Back charity golfers with 18 holes of golf on the Brownlow course, played off the white tees, followed by an evening of fund raising for the Battle Back golf charity.
A number of golf clubs had donated 4-ball vouchers which were auctioned off. Our thanks go to the 24 sponsors of the event which made the event possible.
