Belton Park Golf Club: Ladies

LADIES SECTION
The Ladies’ Section at Belton Park is one of the oldest ladies’ sections in England: records show that our ladies’ section was formed in 1893, and was affiliated to the LGU in 1898 with 40 ladies paying a club subscription of 30 shillings each!

Today, Belton Park boasts one of the largest ladies’ sections in Lincolnshire, with nearly 150 members of all abilities.

We offer many playing opportunities for both the serious golfer and the social golfer, with a range of medal, stableford and trophy competitions throughout the year. We also participate in matches, competing in the leagues (scratch and handicap) and we arrange friendly matches with local clubs too. Not all our games are formally organized – occasionally we enjoy fun competitions with unusual formats – a chance to relax and get to know your playing partners better.
Tuesday is Ladies day, with tee closures at specified times throughout the year, and there are also weekend medal and trophy competitions.

Newcomers are always welcome, beginners and established golfers alike, and the range of competitions offered presents many occasions when everyone can join in and make new friends.
